Food

Matthew 4:4   New English Translation

4 But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Food for the body, let us begin right here

Food for the stomach and the stomach for the food

But in the end, both will definitely be destroyed

Since neither is for the Eternal, but for temporal use

The body is for the Lord and for Him to be enjoyed

Remember Eve fell for food and so it befell the Hebrews

Coming out of Egypt they bellyached about food

Personal satisfaction to fulfill their fleshy desires

Not to bring Glory to God and that was not too good

Immorality defiles the body, it eats away at what is good

I know there’s no one good but God, but that is not the issue

Don’t forget that through time God healed many bodies

More than He saved souls although He knew the miss-use
