Fog

1 Corinthians 13:12 New English Translation (NET Bible)

12 For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face.

Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.

Fog

Here I am with a pen in hand with thoughts slowly appearing

Early morn in peace and quiet filling room and board

Provided for by The Lord for a time of quiet meditation

Words in heart spelled by life to make all things worthwhile

Once too young appearing strong and now more-less wrinkled

Time too fast from escaping the past and where to be floored

A rising fog that will bog the futility of all self-reason

At the end just to pretend that life itself won’t smile
