Flying Dreams
There once was a girl who had many a dream.
She saw rainbows with colors, and grass that was green.
There once was a boy who wished he could fly.
He wished he could glide in the bluest of sky.
There once was a fire that burned the whole earth,
and now everything that was once something had no worth.
The girls dreams were lost in the ash and dust,
and the boys wings were clipped, and things were unjust.
The girl tried to find the dreams she once had,
but was never quite happy and sometimes sad.
The boy went backwards and dug in the ground.
Digging his grave, he was being drowned.
As the boy dug, he discovered a dream.
One that was lost in the fire now seen.
The girl looked up and saw a dove.
The bird dropped something and 'twas it a glove.
The glove was the boys, who was wasting his life
She found him just before he picked up his knife.
Two worlds collide more broken than fixed.
Two different people that are now forever mixed,
but my darling please listen, 'cause this story has no end,
because you are the love of my life, and the bestest of friend.
