Florebit

I am but a flower,

Found in the light of the sun,

Swaying beneath your feet,

Growing in the ground on which you run.

I am but a moment,

Appearing in a season;

However this so,

I still have a reason.

Though my life is temporary,

I play a big role:

By providing food and shelter

To the insects and tiny creatures below.

My life is but a wisp,

Yet, I still have a part,

In a great pattern

Found within Mother Nature's heart.

I am but a flower-

I will soon fade away:

Though my armature will begin to wither and fray,

My seeds will go forth,

and make a new way,

Growing once again

In the light of day.
