Proverbs 5:11 New English Translation (NET Bible)

11 And at the end of your life you will groan
when your flesh and your body are wasted away.

Flesh

Regenerated Life as such ... does not alter the flesh.

I’m crucified with Christ but it does not quench my flesh

The Holy Spirit dwells in me ... but it doesn’t remove my flesh.

I believe and try to serve ... but there always is the flesh.

The flesh is my old nature ... the flesh can be “my” will.

The flesh can be “my” worldly mind ... influenced by death.

The flesh can be an emotional state ... that controls the inner being.

The flesh can be my willingness ... but never does its best.
