A fleeting thought

2 Timothy 3:16-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Time is now at hand for choices to be made

Work or play to invest minutes of the day

A fleeting thought in a concrete mess of haste

A temporal peek at Eternal with feet of clay

Paper staring in my eyes groaning for some ink

Words with deep desire want to be strung in rhyme

Should I even try to find the hidden missing link?

As inspiration seems under fire in this world of mine

Daring to invest all in my detrimental disposition

Hungering for the best in a self-chosen inspiration

Time will be the test for success or some prohibition

When faith and hope are in the view of this deprivation
