Flawlessly Imperfect

I am flawlessly imperfect.

For perfection is only

an illusion.

I am too sensitive,

too happy,

too moody,

and

too imaginative.

But I wouldn't want it any other way.

Because I'm no china doll

with perfect porcelain skin

and

wide meticulous eyes

with long perfect lashes.

I am flawlessly imperfect,

and that's what makes me human.

A human who will stumble

with the imperfections

of life

But will always rise because

my sensitivity,

my happiness,

my moods,

and

my imagination

are not weaknesses.

They are strengths.

I am flawlessly imperfect.

For perfection is only

an illusion.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.
