Flawless Internal Regardless of External

In the morning

I

roll out of bed. I

am

the poster girl for bedhead.

School is next and I am

confident

my crush won't look my way

and

I will fall up the stairs.

The stain

that

my coffee left behind

makes

my white shirt turn to brown.

In class people laugh at

me

as I forget the lines I studied the night before and

as I walk through the halls I watch the

flawless

flow of moments around me.
