Flawless

Location

Silvery white light brightens

Blackness below.

You see all.

You know all.

Craters cover your surface

And yet

You have no flaws.

You are beautiful.

The tide ebbs when you are far

And when you are close,

Waves the size of mountains pass.

Leaving destruction, broken homes.

You own scrapes and scars

And yet

You have no flaws.

You are beautiful.

Pyramids were built in your honor

Rituals performed for you.

With age they crumble.

As do you.

Your glittery soft surface, easily damaged

And yet

You have no flaws.

You are beautiful.
