Flames of Youth

Watching you is like watching the stars,

 Wandering like a dove freely with purpose,

Perhaps it would be fun to visit mars.

But let us not be quick to propose;

Hand in hand we walk the day away,

Would I be lucky to meet you in time,

It would be bad to want you to stay,

Must be the day to find me a dime.

A nice chance would be at tango.

A table for two to dine at night.

With a hint of a sweet taste of mango.

With a small spot just for us with light.

With this love that lights a candle,

Continuously carved in the mantle.

This poem is about:
My family
