Flame of Stone

Flames flicker as streams of starlight.

Burred in vision, but alive just the same.

Beating as the heart flutters by,

The fire burns with strength and true frailty.

Cautious as the flame slowly burns,

It grows and grows, but what will it burn?

Will it burn as a stable torch?

Or will it devastate a well of trust?

A well to beautiful to burn,

Is a one that grows deeper in trust through time.

A flame throws caution to the wind,

But flames beat life into a well of stone.
