Fixture

Mark 4:21

Light under a Basket

21 Also, He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?

Fixture

Am I a fixture neatly labeled … or a signpost in the fog?

In life’s forest all disabled ... seldom used a fallen log.

"Make a difference", nature’s screaming … pave a way for man to see.

Thoughts now quietly redeeming … where I’m going who wants to be?

Where I’ve been just ruins are left ... destruction paid for my living.

Everything touched I left in debt … taking outdid my giving.

Preying on life and its substance … at the expense of dying souls,

no exceptions no for instance … only to justify my selfish goals.

In my reason, I see clearly … the walls I built around my heart.

All excuses used so dearly … carved in stone in full or part.

To mislead friend or foe … and to appear in a better light

Oh so bad! Where to go … to find me too oft out of sight?
