Fine

I’m Fine.

I swear.

Don’t you see my smile?

Hear my laugh as I walk down the halls?

I’m Fine.

I swear.

I still crack bad jokes.

And make sure everyone is living.

I’m Fine.

I swear.

Stop asking questions.

I don’t have the answers you want to hear.

I’m Fine.

I swear.

Everyone asks if I’m alright.

I give them the answer they want to hear.

I’m Fine.

I swear.

My heart is breaking a little bit for everyone.

But that’s alright.

I’m Fine.

I swear.

I’ve taken your lives on my shoulders.

But I don’t look at it as a burden.

I’m Fine.

I swear.

I’m trying to save you.

But I forgot to save me too.

I’m Fine.

I swear.
