Finding you was the hardest

Finding you was the hardest uphill I've ever climbed... The day you showed up in my life, the walls inside burned down, the tall, dark room turned into a luminous light house The fog lifted, the sun came out and it had your face painted across my skies. I flew a thousand dreams to find you. I landed in a thousand lands looking for the one. Only to discover that love was home. I've been an empty house all this time without you. Only to find out that there is this cruel agreement between time and love, that love without timing is like a broken down clock. All the parts are there but because of a tiny problem everything stopped working. The Winds I will withstand will always carry your scent, the water running down the palms of my hands will always remind me of your warm smile. The mountains I will climb will always trace your footsteps.
