Finally

Romans 12:9

Behave Like a Christian

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.

Finally light on the house frame ... glittering brightly after dark

Christmas time is here to visit ... memories sighing in the shadows

Once a child and life a game ... like a peaceful stroll in the park

Now a struggle to stay with it ... almost like a fire’s after glow

Going home after the lime-light ... a forgotten part of the décor

Staring at the stage now empty as an after thought just hangs around

A life just lived by simple hindsight that always hungered for more

An imprint like a fossil’s remnant that in time felt heaven bound

Glittering stars hidden by moonlight ... heavenly bodies so far away

As we’re held back by limitations and can only dream of being there

All what shines must be bright as night time conquers the day

Almost like constant frustration that seems to rule on earth down here
