Filter This

Location

Haven't slept in two days? Lo-fi filter it.

Climbed the highest peak of a mountain and want to hide your sweat stained shirt? Valencia filter.

Just stayed up all night to read your favorite romance novel? Hudson filter.

Spent all morning cooking your speciality dish? Mayfair filter.

Looking to hide the little tummy you grew after graduating high school? Go on a hike.

Feeling a little lonely during the holidays? Visit your family.

Hoping to catch the movie that is based off your favorite book? Go alone and don't spoil the ending.

Feeling a little tired? Take a nap.

My life is not hidden behind a filter.

It is not crouched beneath the shadows of my surrounding peers.

It is not defined, motivated, nor dependent on what people see on social media.

I am radiant without the lo-fi filter.

I am flawless with my little tummy.

I am un-nerved by sweat-stains and sunburns.

I am whole all on my own, yet still delight in the company of my family.

I believe a good book is worth the loss of a good night's sleep.

I often go to movies unaccompanied.

The way my food looks cannot be saved-- even with the help of your best filter.

I delight in naps, but often times, find myself strung out on coffee and sugar.

I am so much more than a filter.

My life is far more beautiful than a perfectly executed smiling portrait of my face.

I do not hide my messy, confusing way of being.

I proudly boast the out of focus picture and caption it: Filter this.
