The Feelings of a Rose

The Feeling of a Rose

The sun shines on you as gold,

Yet you are more beautiful than silk.

The mystery of your shape is wonderful

Yet you are perfect in all measures.

You are tall and slender;

Graceful and delicate in the wind.

Thou are strong, bright and never

Yielding to the sun.

You are sorrow, pain and yet you

Are love in so many forms.

You are the perfume women desirer,

The gift that men give.

You are present at the wonderful and sorrowerful events,

Yet you are still the same strong, soft and unmoving.

Always you give each person their own feeling.

They all have their own imprecation of you.

The beautiful, graceful and loving

Rose.
