Feeding the soul with ... frustration?

Ecclesiastes 6:7 New English Translation (NET Bible)

All man’s labor is for nothing more than to fill his stomach—
yet his appetite is never satisfied!

.

Feeding the soul with … frustration?

I wake up in the morning and anger is there.

Where does it come from as nothing seems fair?

I try to accomplish what I’m asked to do

but little is accepted and all that just proves

That it is better to do nothing and procrastinate.

For in doing much talking most get in that way.

Still I’m held responsible for the non-producing crowd.

And when it comes to judgment there is little doubt

That I seem to be a failure, a piece that now is all wet.

that floats on top of the water and that is all of that.

Is this is pro-activity and is this the way it will be?

To feel used and defeated and to know it’s destroying me.

Morale is at the lowest in the many years I’ve been here

Talking about production by them who simply live in fear.

I guess they feel like I do. No difference how hard you try.

The glory goes to someone else who is always getting by.
