Fears I Live WIth

The fear of life
The fear of the one that I might wife
The fear of death
For all the years I have left

It consumes me
In one giant gulp
The black hole inside my chest
A nest that festers
Upon no request

Vision of distortion
The fear of disproportion
The fears that hold me back
How I wish I would lack

Scars deep as bones
The one that’s never been known
My views are black and white
One day they will be ever so bright

Blossoming into something new
As buds do after the bloom
And the day came when
BANG!
What is fear?
