Fear Of Failure

The sun sets, as I have fallen behind the shadows unable to succeed,
ironically because I’m supposed to lead my own shadow.
Into this black hole I fall my thoughts and all tumble
down the drain like a ball that speeds a hill.
But I can’t give up for the will of a lion lies within.
Still scared that I won’t succeed, I am unable to
seek the right path onward my success.
Not only am I without sight but my ears have went dull,
as these negative influences cloud my thoughts I can’t
focus on the words of the wise, in which they are intended to rise me to the top.
Everything moving so fast, too far now to look into the past.
What’s done now is gone and forgotten, now rise my head and look to the horizon.
The sun rises as my shadow falls in its rightful place, BEHIND!
