The Fateful Void

The draw of his affection pulled as if the center of his soul

Was a binary star to her impeding gravity.

The point at which his universe collided into hers

Became an instance of impenetrable serenity.

Although his essence seemingly fused into her galaxy,

His mind faced an instant of intense fear as he stared into the void of his happiness.

Her tears became immortalized moments of pure starlight

That painted the Milky Way with a determined ease.

He fell through the cosmos as her gravity vanished,

She transformed into a shooting star--

He felt her cold and distant light become fleeting as his universe collapsed.
