Familiar Spirits

Tue, 10/01/2019 - 16:22 -- LEchols

There is a familiar I know

A spirit who smiles with no teeth

the gummy trance closing, opening, closing, opening

and

I

am

transfixed.

Broken spirit, that seeks its rest,

I am transfixed

pressed

between

a rock and a bigger rock

please

unmake me

remake me

I desire

my desires are few

broken in two

found themselves between the gums

of the familiar spirit.

I am undone.
