The fantasy she couldn't forget
The wondrous thoughts floating through her head
Never did give her an escape from herself
She never wanted to think about it
But somehow her mind kept coming back to it

And now she just wants to forget
Forget the thoughts in her head
Of her and her friend cause she knows it's never going to happen
Not this time
Not this way
Not today, not tonight
Not in this lifetime

She could never tell her friend
She couldn't tell anyone
They'd think she was weird, think she was crazy
Call her names
Tell her more lies

So what does she do now?
What choice does she have?
None other than to hurt herself for feeling this way
She can't blame anyone else
Only herself

And now she wishes she never had the thought
That drove her so insane
Because now she can't forget
All the petty names
That are driving her nearer

She's on the edge
About to give it all up
And only one person could save her
But that person doesn't know
So here she goes

Final strike
The final blow
That pushed her over
The edge into the next life
Where she may survive
