Falling Dreams

She has so much to lose with only a little to gain.
Her tears fall quickly because she cries with the rain.
She never thought of losing and having so many falling dreams.
She never saw it coming but life isn't what it seems.
She's a little girl alone and in a world so cold.
She tries to imagine a pretend place but pretending is getting old.
She's so deep, her love's so strong, and she has a big heart to match,
And she deeply believes one of those dreams that's falling she'll one day catch.
So she goes to school and begins to learn.
And all of the pain she slowly let's burn.
The lessons are taught...
The battles are fought...
And one of the dreams that's falling is quickly caught.
If she can do it then you can too.
Don't ever doubt yourself and say what you can't do!
Because falling dreams can be caught.
And the only battle lost is the one not fought.
