Fall down seven times, stand up eight

trip, stumble, and fall
fear, guilt, appalled
face first to the ground
the shame can be weighed in pounds
forget the stars
and lower the bar

then breathe
and heave

give a push and be brave
stand up, be tall, and slave

you are strong
you are confident
you are standing

you are hesitant
you are cautious

breathe
and heave

take a moment to look to the sky
your success is not a lie

take a step
a talk, a pep

you are walking
you are running
you are sprinting
