Fake Beauty
Locations
The smile on my face is happy.
I dance with the curves,
And dimples of ecstasy.
But what I'm really,
Is just a monstrosity.
My body is full of joy.
I laugh with gestures,
And giggle with poise.
This fake pleasure,
Is screaming noise.
The armour I wear is strong.
I deflect with attitude,
And block head on.
But really, my confidence
Is shattered, broken, lost.
What they see is a lie.
I let people perceive me,
With different eyes.
The truth is,
I am full of sharp edged knives
Each one I placed
Carefully,
Delicately,
Over time.
I am a girl with no power,
Hiding from my fears
I always,
Cower.
