Galatians 1:1-5

From Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor by human agency, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father Who raised Him from the dead) 2 and all the brothers with me, to the churches of Galatia. 3 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be glory forever and ever! Amen.

This inherited present evil in this age we seem to know

We dress it up a little and think it to be all right

We don’t want to be delivered and think it not worthwhile

for we have all the answer now ... not to wonder “Why?”

Galatians 1:8

But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!

There is only one true gospel … carved in the Eternal

Accursed is any other one with a message straight from hell

Why are so many embracing the second in their hearts

and feel total security in that beguiling spell

Demons dancing faithfully in the darkness of these hearts

Promising signs and wonders ... delivered through the world

Is it not amazing that the wisest here seem the fools

who in this present age accumulate iniquity posing as pearls?
