Fairy Lights

neon lights late at night

rain on the ground raindrops on the windows rain sounds on the ceiling

ambient noise, ambient colors melt into your soul

colors rippling in the puddles colors glowing smeared across the streets

neon on pavement, neon on black

lights in the raindrops, fairy lights reflect our world, fairy lights streaming down the car window

gas stations light up the night bars convenience stores flying by

golden windows glow in the dark pink blue and green tubes of light watch the cars go by

streetlights headlights cascading down the road waterfalls of golden glow

tires on wet pavement, sidewalks desolate

fairy lights fill the puddles, black on the streets but filled with city stars
