Facing You

If I was forced to face you.

Oh

God

I would say.

That you punched a hole in our promise

And ruined my favorite time of day.

You tore the stars from their places

And set them at my feet.

But then smashed them all to nothing

When I danced to a different beat.

The world became a black hole

You slashed the color and the fun

And because of that

We

Are

Forever more and eternally

Done.
