The faceless creature comes knocking at the door,

Some of his features I think I have seen before.

Familiar eyes that are as dark as a Hershey bar,

Sitting on his temple is his battle scar.

He smells of cigarettes,

And something as vulgar as sweat.

But wait he is not alone,

Behind him is a girl that is nothing but bones.

The perfect blonde you only read about in books,

On her face she has a look.

It screams why am I here I am better than you,

Considering the circumstances I guess that is true.

Suddenly I learn why that face looks so familiar,

Because that is a face I see every time I look in the mirror.

As introduction are made my eyes began to water,

I learn that familiar but faceless creature is my father.
