Expense

Luke 14:28 New English Translation (NET Bible)

28 For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t sit down

first and compute the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?

Expense. (value)

Going through expense reports

and looking at the cost

of operating and maintaining

investments from the lost.

One expense that is driven down

and slapped around our ears,

are salaries that you make

my friend, so you better fear.

You are a liability, my son,

an expense we hate to see.

You breathe our air and eat our food

and sleep in our bed indeed.

Without you, our cost would be down

look here at the bottom line.

Salaries the " biggest " expense of all

without that, it would be fine.
