Expectation

1 John 3:3  And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as He is pure. Expectation

What do I expect of life ... will I pay my dues?

Is it mine to pay at all or is there some good news?

Do I get what I deserve or am I sliding by?

Bellyache about little things while I deserve to fry.

Some have lots and get little ... others have everything they need.

Is it all in the material or is it where the heart does feed?

What is called true perception ... where does understanding rest?

Where is wisdom in the making ... is not life far beyond a test?

Maybe “I” is not “me” at all ... maybe “me” resides in places

Where mine and selfish waste my time ... in blank staring faces

Eyes are windows to the heart ... why are so many shifting?

Afraid to look straight at me ... means the heart is drifting?
