Exit

Location

If there was an exit,

Life would mean that much more,

Life would be that much harder,

Having to hold on knowing its ok to leave any time through that one-way door

Searching for it, she chose to stay,

A selfless, deep being she was,

She felt everything.

Humbled with her steps,

She saw everyone on the other side in everything,

Keeping quiet,

No one could relate

Misunderstood,

Wishing someone could appreciate.

Everywhere she walked she felt connected,

As the trees swayed,

They touched her with their breath,

As the rain fell,

 It calmed her noisy mind,

The only peace she could find,

Was in sleep itself,

The only accepted exit she took.
