Execel

I lay here exposed
Resting within the framing of the trees

Spectacles glorified by the Sun
Casting their shadows long
Far off even.

I am exposed
Laying here in darkness
My form amped by shadows
This is my identity.

Enough, time to go
I levitate through the shadows
The air spears
I wisp about
Blowing toward ominous direction

But first one last celebration
In serene atmosphere
I’ve grown so much
Sweet memories.

I glide between the trees
Strong steadfast, rooted toward their goal
Glorious and splendorous
I can have my own splendor too.

I flow pass the trees over the meadow
Still exposed
The rays are my energy
I blow pass the meadow and
Ascend on a lake

My path is exciting and flowing
My obstacles; I can curve, slip
Loop, or gust through if they demand so

The trees inch further toward their goal
I am a-flamed
Crackling I dance in the Sunrays
Excelsior! Celebration
Au revoir! Goodbye

The ominous adventure waits
I am coming

The trees, powerful, rooted, and tall
Compete toward their goal
Their branches twiddle
In beauty, profession, and splendor

I compete with them as well
Though I am not rooted
I can elevate too
My path swirl, swish, wisp, rash… hovers…
Loose

Darkness is my identity
The blaze is my profession
I round between the trees,
Competing on the ominous path
Flowing down my own stream

As a shadow that can play in blaze
Or in the quiet light
A silhouette day and night
Known as the Dancing Leaf Shadow
On my own path.
