Excuses

January:

My cat scratched me.

February:

I cut myself shaving.

March:

I scraped my leg climbing a tree.

April:

I ran into a barbed wire fence.

May:

I dropped a knife while cooking dinner.

June:

I cut myself cleaning up broken glass.

July:

You always keep the house too cold

that’s why I’m wearing a sweater.

August:

I can’t wear shorts. I didn’t shave

My legs.

September:

It’s from when I was little and fell

off my bike.

October:

It’s cold out now. I want to wear

long sleeves and long pants. I get

cold easily. I’m just cold.

November:

Do you have to roll up my sleeve

to get my blood pressure? It’s so

hard to roll these sleeves up.

December

I used to cut myself, but I don’t

do it anymore. I swear. I’m ok.

January:

My cat scratched me.
