Eternal Fire

Our flame began so suddenly,

Like a forest fire, it tore through the woods,

Nobody understood,

Not even we.

The wind led on, we ravaged the site,

Even in my dreams though out the night,

I could hardly wait to burn forever

For your flame and mine created beauty  together.

As time went on, the flame went down,

The embers still cackle on the ground,

And even though our fire cannot be seen,

I still believe,

There will always be a spark between you and me.
