Equality

Location

she walks the halls but doesnt speak

the pain is voiced by the tear on her cheek

her beauty and innocence corrupted by others

who point and laugh at the skin she covers

a boy who sits alone and cries

he has nothing but the shame of his life

all he wants is to love another

but society hates the love he offers

we don't accept the slightest difference

so we hide our beauty from other students

even teachers hold secret prejudice

intead of love and acceptance

our schools need love instead of hate

preventing teen suicides day by day

we all have feelings, why can't you see

that all we need is equality
