Entrapment

Mon, 02/03/2020 - 08:28 -- EJ123

He stayed quiet
But his silence was loud
He said he tried to make things right
But wasn't allowed
Under a spell that was bestowed
That Protected him untill it costed

Holding it close to his heart
Horrified of what it was keeping him apart
Unaware of what was truly happening
He became best friends with the poison

He needed reality to kick in
To realise how bad things had gotten
But still he did'nt wanna let it go
He hanged on the spell
lying to everyone including himself
What was going to be the end
Was something he couldn't comprehend

Rived of long term happiness
It gave him craziness
The tables turned with his fight growing less
Filled with emptiness
He struggled to break free

The nights grew longer than the days
The light dimmed more in every place
He stayed entrapped
With his hate being festered
Was there a cure for what he manufactured

The 4 walls became his home
The 4 walls shamed him
The 4 walls watched his sins
The 4 walls sniggered as it grinned

Screaming out to get out the boy turned mute
Begging for help he turned silent
Hearing the spell left him hiding
Thinking of the future left him crying

Searching for the key
It throws it away
Banging on the doors wanting to escape
It laughs at his face
