Enough...

There’s only enough sadness

And rejection that a woman can take.

From the day she falls in love

To the day she’s finally loved in return.

There’s only enough sadness

And rejection that a woman can take.

From the time her heart is broken

Till the day her grief has drained her.

From the time her heart is broken

Till the day her heart is restored.

From the time her heart is broken

Till the day real love enters.

There’s only enough sadness

And rejection that a woman can take.

She gives her heart, her soul, her life,

She receives indifference.

She gives her love,

She receives pain.

She gives her smiles,

She receives sorrows.

There’s only enough sadness

And rejection that a woman can take.

She tries to appear strong,

But inside her spirit is bleeding.

She says she knows her way,

But in every turn she is uncertain.

The sadness and rejection she has taken

Has been enough.

But like the phoenix she is,

She is able to be reborn from the ashes.

Only this time she’ll be indifferent

Her indifference will give you pain

And that pain will give you sorrows.
