Enemy within ...

Luke 12:6-7

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

The enemy

Fear is on the rise … uncertainty just drives it

At a given moment it will implode in its estate

Replacing the spaces where love used to be

As now they are filling up with a form of self-hate

We always find to blame others for our own state of heart

In search of serenity, we’ll wind up at our own doorstep

Replacing our dreams with what the flesh decides

and so set the direction on our highway called: “inept”

Little by little the enemy corrupts our reason

Like a welcome visitor, we’ll invite him in

We offer him a guest room in our domain

until the day he’ll take the house and all that’s within
