When will the rain stop?

From the flashes.

From our eyes.

From our bodies.

From our minds.

When will it stop?

The ground covered in red,

Keeps everyone tossing and turning in bed.

Our faces wet from sorrow, pain, and frustration.

Too scared to even continue doing our occupations.

When will it stop?

Bodies continue being pelted,

With the worse pain ever felt.

The last pain they'll remember.

But the pain families will continue to feel forever.

The rain still hasn't stopped.

Nothing but fear and hate fills the skies,

Blocking all site of love from our eyes.

Only love can stop the rain,

That's the only thing that will bring back a sunny day.

The only thing that will bring back a smile to everyone's face.

The only thing that will protect and unite each and every religion and race.

Until then this will be our fate.

Lives that will continue being controlled by fear and hate.

Lives that will continue to be controlled by the rain.

Let's come together and make a brighter day.

Every life matters:

The blue,

The white,

The colored,

And the black.

However deep inside we're all the same color.

Let's just keep that color from being spilled by each other.
