Just woke this morning to the beaming light

Still looking through the glass towards the trees

As I reflect memories from last night

My mind does seem to drift in endless dreams

we walked together down the vacant pier

I took her hand in mine and pulled her close

The colorful sunset soon to be here

I gazed into her eyes, and gave a rose

A thousand words that could’ve been said but,

A gentle smile that spoke as endless thoughts

As memories from when we met pivot

Stars shined on her eyes like eternal watts

This bond we shar’d was never ending trust

I’m still looking through glass picturing us
