The Encounter

The Encounter Worthy of self and same. Higher value others are. More than harm from the unkind. Coldhearted. Brutal. Cruel.Pulling strings like a puppeteer. A marionette will utter ..."I want to be a real boy." Hurtful and damaging, removing pieces one-by-one. Broken segments in the world like seaweed in the sea.Slash. Slit. Gash. Split. Pieces on the beach.Disfiguring the shining surf. Becoming not above the din, amidst confusion strong.Another comes with mink-clad hands, holding gently sure.Trust, with fear, displaying captive charms. For dear life hanging on. Encounter grand. Life adorned with hope and joy,Tailor-made for fitting prose with precious lives befitting flame.Fierce and true with strength and gain,A blaze with flash and flare. When life is done, true grief expels like holocaust.Remaining anguish, enshrined in light, stands guard to free the pain. The sanctuary of being rekindles the spirit's core.Life. Purpose. Promise of the soul.
