Emotionless Cries

Men

They are ruthless

they are rude,

crude,

obtuse. Yet I surround myself

with them. Their opinions,

like a sharp tack--hard simple answers,

emotionless.

And I do wonder

about men,

do they ever feel?

Death strikes, war times,

still borns, lost loves.

Can these men cry?

Their brave faces

sting.

Their hearts

lie.

Once you hammer down the

hard oak door,

you may find a watershed,

where tears flow,

sad men go.
