Location
(poems go here) Lonesome in strength, deliberately growing
My life is like a delicate oak tree
Swaying, swinging, stretching branches asunder
Crack!
Boom!
A nearby storm roaring in relentless thunder
The weather is indifferent to my toil
Memories deeply rooted
Becoming more forgotten in my grounded soil
But success being an inevitable friend
Climbs my branches limb for limb
Wrapping and burying my struggles to an end
A time I can see the sunshine's hymn
Through the top of the tree
I stop and see
A future bright and blooming for me
As a blind man suddenly begins to see
A silver lining outlines my branched rim
My happiness begins
