The Edge of the Mar We Bask

My honey, you always flow so sweet

Swiftly, gaining speed

Your hues are so vibrant

I can’t help but wish upon that dying star

And even when we fall apart

I know the pieces aren’t as transparent as they seem

But you’ve been hanging in your sleep

Nowhere by my side

And though I swing your buckets of torments

I will always search the mar

Where you took me in so quickly

Our ending breathing in those ravenous waves

I can fold you in the dust

But you’ll act as if it’s flour

Your hands are made for music

I can’t help it when I shimmy along

And even when we collapse

I know the chasm keeps a haven just for us

But you’ve been talking out loud

Crouching in the shadows

And though I swing your buckets of torments

I will always search the mar

Where you took me in so quickly

Our ending breathing in those ravenous waves

You feel that you’ve lost me

But I’m always on board

I promise that I’ll haul these buckets

To our very end

I know that the lighthouse exists there

Where our hands will join once again
