Skinny Pretty
Skinny Pretty
Pretty Skinny
Thigh Gap Pretty
Hip Bones Pretty
Me, not skinny

You step on the scale
Looking in the mirror you think you resemble a whale
But it reads just 104
You just wanna fit into that size zero dress that you saw at the store

Skinny Pretty
Skinny Pretty
Pretty, Skinny
Thigh gap, pretty
Hip bones, pretty
Me, still not skinny

Society drains all your confidence
And feeds this bullshit into your conscience
So you stare at your plate
Telling them , "It's fine, I already ate"
Looking in the mirror everyday
To see the same weight as yesterday

You write the words on wrist, Don't Eat
Even though you feel incomplete
Because you're refusing to consume meat and wheat

You remind yourself daily
Skinny Pretty
Skinny Pretty
Pretty Skinny
Thigh Gap Pretty
Hip bones Pretty
Me, still not fucking skinny

You're starving yourself now
Ignoring that desperate growl
Watching your body suck itself in
I don't know why anybody would be uncomfortable in their own skin
Killing themselves and becoming skeleton thin
Honestly, is it worth it?
Fuck societies definition
You do not need their permission
Because darling, you are beautiful.
