Eat Me Whole.

I inhale and breath in the chemicals

Burning my lungs of such vital oxygen intaking

Gasping, a scream rips its way through my mouth,

This is how I imagine I’ll be.

When the cloth on the table turns sickly with red

Coating the fabric surface with such a viscous fluid

Flowing into and sucked up by such cloth

As tendons and muscles are observed, uncovered

Steel making way through organic with precision.

I’m savored by the collective, intently watched as if some artwork masterpiece

Observers in a museum, I think

Laid upon the table like it’s Thanksgiving all over again

Many thanks to give.

Skin is pulled back, taken off to reveal the tender insides

Watch as my organs squirm and wriggle around inside of me

So tantalizing, the mouth begins to drool

And I ache, yet they ache for another reason

Reasons so different, but both ache in human nature.

I’m uncovered piece by piece, and they eat

Savor every small bite of meat that is cut from

Hum with delight at the savory flavor of metallic fluid and something more

Eating me piece by piece.

They know I’m DELICIOUS, absolutely DIVINE

It’s what they call me as they cut more meat from my thigh,

Sever my arms with saws,

Eat the moving gooey organs

Saying ‘thank you’, but never to me.
