Dying Mother Nature

I am the freshness that takes everything up.

I am the delta of barks that carries a life source.

I am the clear blue horizon.

I am the green that protects every step you take.

I was once everywhere and everything.

I was once beautiful.

But my children sucked me dry.

They've turned into vampires,

Sucking my blood

I give them everything I have,

But what do I get in return?

I get the leftovers;

What was left of me

But what will happen when I'm no longer juicy,

When I'm  no longer bleeding?
