DUST

A world at last on the brink of destruction,

We've gotten this far following the instructions

Of cooperate leaders, led by corruption.

To them we are no more than mere means of production.

What future are we allowing them to build?

We sit back - relax and watch the few get filled

As the rest regress, feeling left unskilled.

You were a thinker, an artist, take back the mind those leeches killed.

Change starts with who Michael wanted us to see,

The one in your mirror, could truly be

Greater than Marley, or Einstein, or even Dr. King.

And so we the lambs shall rise as lions, untamed and free.

Our lives are an intertwined masterpiece from above.

Appreciate the beauty of humanity and trust

That if we unite as one, we might fill each moment with love.

Before the heavens turn over, and we once again become dust.
